Advancing self-care together for a healthier future
Welcome to the official website of the Taiwan Self-Care Industry Association.
As populations age, chronic diseases increase and demand for medical resources continues to rise, self-care has become a major trend in global health policy and one of the key health strategies advocated by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Taiwan has a well-developed healthcare system and a strong foundation in the biotech, pharmaceutical and health industries. We believe that, with the right health knowledge, safe and effective products, sound regulation and cross-sector collaboration, self-care can become a powerful force for improving public health and easing the burden on the medical system.
TSCIA was founded to build industry consensus and foster collaboration among government, industry, academia, healthcare professionals and consumers, in order to advance better self-care policy and a healthier industry environment. We will continue to deepen international exchange, keep pace with global trends, and actively offer recommendations that support industry innovation and raise Taiwan’s visibility and competitiveness in the international self-care arena.
Looking ahead, the association will continue to provide professional services to members — including education and training, policy research, regulatory exchange and health-promotion activities — as we work together to create a healthier, safer and more convenient self-care environment.
We sincerely invite partners from all sectors to join us in reaching a new milestone for Taiwan’s self-care industry, and in building a future of public health and sustainable development.
